In 1998 Jenson entered the Formula Ford championship and won it in his first season. The drivers, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, were left without seats and with no time to find new teams, but then a management buy-out led by team principal, Ross Brawn, and chief executive, Nick Fry, would secure the team for the 2009 season under the new name of Brawn GP. With a raft of rule changes for the 2009 season, to say Brawn GP made the most of them and hit the ground running is a huge understatement.
