Leaving Death Row, Dr Dre set up his own record label, the now hugely successful Aftermath Entertainment. He discovered more stars, most notably 50 Cent and Eminem, and produced records for Xzibit, The Game and Kendrick Lamar amongst others. All of his work and success resulted in Rolling Stone magazine naming him number 56 in the list of 100 greatest artists of all time. Movie roles in Set It Off, The Wash and Training Day but his greatest movie success was an off-screen role in the hit biopic, Straight Out Of Compton which detailed the rise, and fall of N.W.A. He has even been immortalised in a cult classic video game, Grand Theft Auto.
Dr Dre also set his sights on the technology world with his headphones, "Beats By Dre" becoming a global household name and becoming the head and ear-phones of choice for music lovers and creators all around the world. In 2014 Apple purchased the company for a reported $3 Billion in a cash and stock deal which was the biggest in the companies history and made Dr Dre the wealthiest person in the rap industry.
