As a journalist and golf fan I attend PGA Tour events each year. For a number of years leading up to the 2007 WGC Championship I had followed Tiger Woods in multiple tournaments. After years of exchanging pleasantries with both Woods and Williams, I was familiar to the pair and during that tournament the pace of play was particularly slow. At the 12th hole Tiger joked with me and then gave me the glove.
